Real estate virtual tour app: a 360° tour of your listing, from your phone

Taking a 360 photo of a property in order to build a virtual tour used to mean buying a 360 camera, which is normally very expensive, but not anymore. Now with Pedra's app, you can take 360 shots and actually build the 360 virtual tour directly from your phone. And it's super simple, and in this video, I'm going to show you how it works.

Basically, you walk to the center of each room in the property, you go to Pedra's app, you select Virtual Tour, and you start taking the guided shots that Pedra will take you. You take eight shots per room, and Pedra automatically creates the 360 shot and applies some AI processes so that it looks great.

So the first thing that we're going to do is go into the Pedra app, which is the app that I have here. We're going to open it, and we're going to click on Virtual Tour, and we're going to select the property we're in, which is this one, Flat in Barcelona. And then we're going to pick the option of take 360 photos with this phone.

Perfect. So what we're going to be doing here is basically point where the blue dots are without moving from the position we stand. Okay? It's very important to stand still in the center of the room that we marked and to be completing the shot of the blue dots. Okay? We basically center the white pointer inside the blue dot until it turns green.

Perfect. So we just took the eight shots of this room. So then basically we have the first 360 shot taken, and we can go to the next room. Perfect. We click Start, and we begin taking the eight shots for the next room to complete the 360 shot of this office area.

Okay. Perfect. And last, we go into the bedroom. We click on Start, and then just as we did for the other two rooms, we stand still on the center, and we slowly rotate to take the eight shots so we can build a complete 360 shot picture.

Perfect. We can click on Back to Tour. And what the app will do now is basically complete the 360 shot. It will apply some processes to them so that they look good and natural based on the eight shots we took for each room. And once done, we're going to be able to click on Create Virtual Tour to complete it. Okay, so now we're going to be waiting a bit for that.

Amazing. So now we are here. Okay? We're in this screen, and basically what we're going to do is click on Next: Build Tour, and we're going to be waiting a bit for the tour to complete. This is normally one or a couple of minutes. You can already leave the property and the tour will be built out.

Perfect. So here we have the virtual tour already ready. As you can see, we basically have the result of the 360 shots here, and we can click on the navigation points to go to the different rooms that we have. Okay? For example, here we have the office, and we can click here to go back to the main room. And then if we wanted to go back, we can click here again. And for example, we can also zoom in into the space. And for example, we can also go to the bedroom that we have here.

Perfect. And that's basically it. This is a more vertical size view of the virtual tour. People will normally see it on desktop, which looks better, and that's pretty much it.
