TL;DR

Pedra now lets you renovate 360° virtual tours with AI. Create your virtual tour as usual, then apply a renovation style to the photos inside it—buyers can navigate the entire property and toggle between the current state and a fully renovated version, all from the same interactive tour. No construction. No outsourcing. No Photoshop.

The Problem: Buyers Ask "How Would This Look Renovated?"

Every agent who sells properties that need work hears the same question from buyers:

"How would this look after renovation?"

The old answers were expensive:

  • Commission a physical renovation (not happening before the sale)
  • Hire a 3D visualization agency (days of work, thousands of euros)
  • Create static before/after images (flat, no sense of space)
  • Hope the buyer can imagine it (most can't)

None of these let buyers experience the renovated property. They could see a photo of what one room might look like—but they couldn't walk through a renovated version of the whole home.

That changes today.

What We Shipped: AI Renovation Inside Your Virtual Tour

You can now renovate the photos inside a 360° virtual tour directly in Pedra. Here's how it works:

  1. Create your virtual tour in Pedra as you normally would—upload 360° photos, add hotspots, connect rooms.
  2. Select the photos you want to renovate inside the tour.
  3. Click "Edit with AI" → "Renovate", pick a style (Mediterranean, Modern Minimalist, Scandinavian, or upload your own reference images), and choose the space type.
  4. Pedra renovates the images and automatically links them back to your tour.
  5. Buyers see a toggle at the bottom of each scene—click it to switch between the current state and the renovated version, live inside the tour.

The result: buyers can navigate through the entire property as if it's already been renovated—room by room, in full 360°.

Before & After: Inside the Tour

When a buyer opens the virtual tour, they navigate the property as usual. But in each room that has a renovated version, a button appears at the bottom of the viewer. One click switches the scene from current state to renovated—same walls, same proportions, completely transformed finishes.

  • Bathroom: cracked tiles and dated fixtures → Mediterranean stone and modern fittings
  • Living room: dark paint and worn floors → bright minimalist space with clean lines
  • Kitchen: tired cabinets and laminate counters → modern cabinetry and stone worktops

All inside the same interactive tour. No separate link. No separate experience.

Multiple Renovation Styles Per Tour

You're not locked into one look. If a buyer prefers a different style, they can switch renovation views inside the tour—for example, see the living room in Mediterranean style, then switch to Modern Minimalist.

You can also upload your own style reference images to create renovation renders that match a specific vision—ideal when you have a developer's finishes specification or a client's mood board.

Who This Is For

Properties that need renovation

The most obvious use case. Stop selling potential with words. Show buyers exactly what the property could become—visually, immersively, before a single wall is touched.

Properties under construction

New development sites that aren't finished yet. Let buyers tour the unfinished space and see the renovated/completed version overlaid in the same tour.

Agents competing on vacant or dated properties

If you're listing against agents who have newer stock, virtual tour renovation gives your listing a competitive edge that static photos simply can't match.

Combined With: Empty 360° Virtual Tours

This release pairs with the empty 360° virtual tour feature we shipped two weeks ago. Together, you now have two AI-powered views inside a single virtual tour:

View What It Shows Best For
Furnished Property as-is with furniture Lifestyle buyers, lived-in appeal
Empty Furniture removed by AI Developers, investors, buyers who want to visualize their own layout
Renovated AI renovation in chosen style Properties needing work, new construction, sellers wanting to show potential

One tour. Multiple experiences. No extra shoots.

How to Get Started

  1. Go to pedra.ai and open or create a project.
  2. Click Virtual Tour and set up your 360° tour.
  3. Select the 360° images you want to renovate.
  4. Click Edit with AI → Renovate, choose your style and space type.
  5. Once processed, click play on your tour—the renovated toggle will appear automatically.

That's it. Your tour now has a before/after renovation experience built in.

Why This Matters for Real Estate Marketing

The best real estate marketing doesn't ask buyers to imagine—it shows them. Until now, "showing" a renovation meant static images or expensive 3D visualization work. Virtual tour renovation closes that gap:

  • Immersive: buyers don't just see a photo—they navigate the renovated property
  • Interactive: they can switch between current and renovated on their own terms
  • Fast: from photos to renovated tour in minutes, not days
  • Affordable: no architects, no 3D studios, no photographers to reschedule

For agents managing properties that need work, this is the tool that turns your hardest listings into your best presentations.
