Virtual Staging AI is one of the most recommended AI staging tools in English-language roundups. Many of them name it the budget pick. What most of them do not mention is that, as of September 2026, it will not take your money if you are in Europe.

Virtual Staging AI does not sell in the EU, EEA or UK
Open Virtual Staging AI's website from Spain, Germany, France, Italy, Portugal or the UK and a banner at the top of the page reads:
"We don't currently support customers in the EU, EEA, or UK. You're welcome to browse, but you won't be able to subscribe at this time."
You can browse the site, but you cannot buy a plan. The company has not said publicly why, and we will not guess. Virtual Staging AI was acquired by Zillow in October 2024.
The banner only appears once the page loads in a browser. It is not in the page's HTML, so review sites and search engines that read the raw page do not see it. That is likely why so many comparison articles still recommend it to readers who cannot use it.

Virtual Staging AI's headline prices of $16 and $19 a month are yearly-billing prices. On monthly billing, the same plans cost $25 for 6 photos and $35 for 20 photos. Plans include unlimited re-renders within your photo count, furniture removal and no watermark.
Pedra Pro is €29 a month or €239 a year for 100 image credits. One credit covers one staging, emptying, renovation, object removal or enhancement. Videos, 360° tours and drawn floor plans do not use credits.
A listing usually needs four to six rooms staged. On Virtual Staging AI's 20-photo plan that is about three listings a month. On Pedra's 100 credits it is around fifteen, before you count the video and floor plan that come without using credits.
What each tool does
Virtual Staging AI does one job: furnish a room photo in about ten seconds. You upload, pick a room type and style, and download. It does that job well, and it is built to leave the room's layout untouched. Photo editing (lighting, blue sky, day to dusk) is sold as a separate plan.
Pedra covers the listing rather than one photo. Stage the empty rooms, clear the cluttered kitchen, fix the sky, draw the floor plan, make the walkthrough video and build the 360° tour, all on one account and one plan.
Which one to pick
- You are in the EU, EEA or UK. Pedra, or another tool that sells in your country. Virtual Staging AI will not let you subscribe.
- You are outside Europe and only ever stage empty rooms. Virtual Staging AI on a yearly plan is cheaper. We would rather say so than oversell.
- The listing needs more than staging. Pedra. Photo editing, floor plans, video and tours come on the same plan instead of three separate subscriptions.
