New: Make a Real Estate Virtual Tour From Your Phone | Pedra
Build a real estate virtual tour from your phone: upload your 360 photos to the Pedra app, keep them in order for automatic hotspots, and share the link. No computer needed.
TL;DR
You can now make a real estate virtual tour entirely from your phone. Upload the 360 photos of the property to the Pedra app on iPhone or Android, keep them in order, and tap Next. Pedra builds the tour, adds the hotspots between rooms automatically, and gives you a link to send on WhatsApp, by email or publish on a portal.
The one thing you bring is the 360 photos: Pedra builds and publishes the tour, it does not shoot it.
The desktop step is gone
Shooting the 360s was never the hard part. The step in the middle was: shoot on the 360 camera, download everything to a computer, then upload it again to build the tour. That detour is what left tours half-finished, and it is what agents told us sent them to other tools.
Now the whole job happens on the phone, while you are still standing in the property with everything fresh.
What you need before you start
- The 360 photos of the property, taken with a 360 camera such as a Ricoh Theta or an Insta360. Not sure which one to buy? See our guide to cameras for 360° virtual tours.
- The Pedra app, available on iPhone and Android.
That is the full list. Regular flat photos cannot become a virtual tour, so the 360 camera is the one piece of kit this needs.
How to make a virtual tour from your phone, step by step
- Open the Pedra app and tap See all to see every property in your account.
- Pick the property you want the tour for.
- Switch to the Virtual Tour tab and tap Create virtual tour.
- Select the 360 photos you want in the tour, in a logical order — room by room, the way a buyer would walk through.
- Tap Next to build the tour and wait a moment.
- Tap Open to preview it, then Share to get the link.
Why photo order matters: hotspots are automatic
Pedra uses the order of your 360 photos to add the hotspots that move a viewer from one room to the next. You never place a hotspot yourself, so the only thing to get right is the sequence: hall, living room, kitchen, bedrooms — whatever order makes sense for the property.
Preview and share the tour
On a phone the tour is displayed in a vertical layout. That is fine for a quick check, but most buyers will open it on a computer, where the same link shows the tour in landscape.
From Share you can:
- send the link on WhatsApp or by email,
- publish it on real estate portals alongside your listing,
- send it to the owner, who will want to see it before choosing the agent they list with.
A virtual tour lets potential buyers walk the property without booking a first visit, so the viewings you do get are with people who have already seen it.
Unlimited tours, no per-tour fees
Virtual tours are unlimited on a monthly or annual Pedra subscription, as covered in unlimited 360° virtual tours. Make one for every listing, not just the expensive ones.
What you can do with the tour next
The tour you built on your phone lives in the same property as everything else in Pedra, so it keeps working after you publish it:
- Extract listing photos from the tour without a separate photo shoot.
- Order a floor plan from the tour without measuring the property.
- Renovate or stage the tour with AI from the web app, to show the same rooms empty or furnished.

FAQ
Can you make a real estate virtual tour from your phone? Yes. Upload the 360 photos of the property to the Pedra app on iPhone or Android, keep them in order, and tap Next. Pedra builds the tour, adds the hotspots between rooms and gives you a link to share. No computer is involved at any point.
Do I need a 360 camera? Yes. Pedra builds and publishes the tour, but it does not shoot the 360 photos. Take them with a 360 camera such as a Ricoh Theta or an Insta360, then bring them into the Pedra app. Regular flat photos cannot become a virtual tour.
How are the hotspots between rooms added? Automatically. Pedra uses the order of your 360 photos to link one room to the next, so select them in the order a buyer would walk through the property. You do not place hotspots by hand.
How do I share the virtual tour? Tap Share to get a link. Send it on WhatsApp or by email, or publish it on real estate portals. The same link opens on desktop, where the tour displays in landscape.
How many virtual tours can I create with Pedra? As many as you want. Virtual tours are unlimited on a monthly or annual Pedra subscription, with no per-tour fees.
Can I edit the tour after creating it on my phone? Yes. Open the property in the Pedra web app at app.pedra.ai to adjust the tour, or to virtually empty or furnish its rooms.

If you're looking for how to create a virtual tour of a property from your phone, this is the tutorial that you're looking for. In this tutorial, we're going to cover how to go from 360 shots that you took of a property to a fully built virtual tour without leaving your phone.
The only thing you'll need are the 360 shots that you will probably have taken with a 360 camera like the Ricoh Theta or another virtual tour camera. A virtual tour will let the potential buyers navigate the property without having to go to the property, and it's also something that property owners working with agents look for.
So once you have your 360 shots, what we're going to use is the Pedra app, which is an Android and an iPhone app that you can download. And basically, what we'll need is just upload the 360 shots from there, and the virtual tour will be created.
So I'm going to be showing you that right now. We're going to open the app, and once we're here, we can click on See all to see all the properties we have. And for example, we're going to click on the property in Milan because that's the property we want to create the virtual tour for. So we're going to switch to the Virtual Tour tab, and from here, we're going to click on Create virtual tour. And from there, we're just going to click on the 360 shots we want to have on the virtual tour. And that's pretty much it.
The only thing we need to be careful about is having a logical order across the pictures, because that's how Pedra will add the hotspots to the virtual tour. So once we're happy, we click on Next to build the tour, and we're going to wait a bit.
Nice. Once it's built out, we can click on Open to visualize how the virtual tour looks. On phones, it obviously looks like any other virtual tour, and it's adapted to a vertical screen, so it's not the best option to see virtual tours. But you'll be able to actually go and share this same virtual tour on desktop, so anyone will be able to see it. You can also click on Share, and you can share this link on WhatsApp, on email and other platforms, and also publish it on real estate portals.
So cool. This is how you go from just raw 360 shots to a published virtual tour in a very automatic and easy way without leaving your phone. You just need 360 shots and a phone. Also remember that with Pedra, virtual tours are unlimited, so with a monthly or an annual subscription, you can create as many virtual tours as you would like. Try it for free at pedra.ai.
